about

Madeleine Thompson is an ambitious, results-oriented individual passionate about compelling communication and seeking a challenging role in creating, telling, and preserving stories to further human connection and enact real change.
Originally from Hamilton, Ohio, she is pursuing a degree in English literature with a minor in creative writing from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, where she studies under a Visual Arts Scholarship. Her proficiency and interest in the intersection between the written word and visual storytelling allows her to create innovative pieces of art, social media graphics and captions, and works of technical writing.
Outside her time as a student on campus, Madeleine pursues her creative outlets by working in her college’s theater scene shop and writing center. She demonstrates initiative by organizing a zumba class held twice a week to promote artistic expression and better the overall health of fellow peers and by volunteering as an ESL tutor for local grade school students.
She currently holds two non-academic career positions, one as the Director of Grants and Philanthropy at Final Strike Collaborative, and the second as a Social Media Coordinating intern at CancerFree KIDS.
Madeleine believes in the power of language and art to positively influence and improve our world. Her expertise in messaging and sculpting the presentation of an idea drives her to work with worthy causes to enhance their reach and inspire tangible impact.
